Does your child enjoy reading?  Can he/she name lots of book titles and book series that are favorites? Does your child choose to read on his/her own- without being told? Is reading seen as rewarding, or is it a chore to get out of the way?  

Is your child able to independently sound out words?  Is your child able to use age appropriate phonics skills to solve words by him/herself?

In addition to providing tutoring directly to students,

Read to Me Daley will support and consult with 

 parents/caregivers. We will provide them the tools 

needed  to assist their own children in becoming 

strong, confident readers.

As a parent or caregiver, you will learn how to:
 

• Motivate your child to want to be read to and choose books that he can read on his own.   

• Check your child's reading level and learn how to gain access to books your child can read independently. 

• Teach your child new  phonics skills and coach her to use them while reading.  And,  much, much more.....
